An estimated 50–70% of all dog and cat euthanasia in shelters is the result of behavior problems, and many are potentially resolvable.5 Electronic collars and other static products can help preserve and strengthen bonds between people and their pets. They can help you get a better behaved pet quickly and safely. You can see results much faster, sometimes within days. Other training tools, such as treats or choke chains, may take weeks or months, and may not necessarily be more effective or more humane. They are recognized as safe, effective training tools that can be used with a variety of training programs and methods.
Will this little dog Petsafe collar work with perimeter technology brand wired underground fence system? Thank you

Proper levels of static stimulation can be described using three simple terms: “too high, too low and just right”. While electric stimulation levels in modern collars are safe at all levels, it is important to determine the “just right” level for your pet. Behaviorally-activated products are automatic; some bark collars start at the lowest level automatically and increase as your dog continues to bark until the barking stops. Trainer-operated products require you to perform a minimum recognition test to find just the right level for your pet. Start at the lowest level and watch your dog carefully for any response. Look for perked ears or a tilted head. If your pet barks/meows or reacts with fear, anxiety, or aggression, the level is too high. You don’t want your pet to be afraid, you just want to get their attention. Elite Big Dog Static Bark Collar by PetSafe - PBC00-12725

As with another persons review, our first collar fell apart and the device was lost and never found. Petsafe listened to my story and after explaining the problem with the 2 small nuts on the back becoming loose, they replaced the unit. I now check the nuts frequently and when I walk my dog I take the collar off. He doesn't bark at others and doesn't need correction while on leash anyway. The Stubborn Dog Stay + Play Wireless Fence® Receiver Collar can be used to add another dog or as a replacement collar for the Stay + Play Wireless Fence® or the PetSafe® Wireless Pet Containment System. This rechargeable collar features 5 levels of correction at a higher intensity for stubborn or hard-to-train pets, plus a tone-only mode for training. Whether your dog needs to stop digging in the trash or brush up on obedience commands, our remote training collars (with handheld transmitters) allow you to safely teach them better behavior. The best remote trainer for your pet depends on:We purchased and installed a pet safe underground fence in 2010. We are now about to train a new dog on the fence. The instruction book that came with our fence says that on day 1, the collar is set to level “2 or 3”. Then on days 2-4 raise the collar lever to “3 or 4”. But that’s not what is on this page. This page suggests using collar setting level 1 (no static correction) for day 1. Which is best for first day of training?Looking at the specs for this product, it's intended for "small dogs" that are "55 pounds or less." Since when is a 55-pound dog considered "small"? My guess is that the collar is not very well calibrated for smaller dogs -- in the 5-15 pound range. So maybe you folks need to rethink the design a bit, and make a product that's more reliable and that actually is "pet safe."PETSAFE RESPONSE: Thank you for your time in sharing your experience with the Elite Little Dog Static Bark Collar! We are sorry to hear of the issue you've experienced with the static correction, and we can understand your concern. Please know that this collar is designed with 10 different levels of stimulation. This collar will self adjust based on the dog's barking habits, meaning it will begin at level 1 and will increase each time the dog barks (within 30 seconds of the previous bark). If the dog remains quiet for 30 seconds, the collar will reset back to level 1.
