When switching to Purina Puppy Chow from another food, please allow 7-10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Purina Puppy Chow and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

As with adult dog meal items, there are a wealth of puppy food options to choose from. While referring to your pet’s vet and boning up on puppy food reviews will help you zero in on the best brand or type for them, there are a few fundamental tips you can use when developing their menu at home. Because puppy food is engineered exclusively to meet the nutritional needs of their rapidly growing bodies, your pet will need dietary options featuring up to twice the amount of nutrients as an adult or senior dog. The best puppy food brands feature ingredients that focus on helping the development of healthy muscles, joints, and immune system. With a balance of these nutrients in their puppy food, your pet will get a leg up on their journey to a happy and healthy adult life. MedalSeries Dog | Puppy - Nulo Pet FoodNulo Pet Food

It’s no secret that puppies have special needs in terms of food. They need lots of vitamins and minerals, but have delicate stomachs that also require easy-to-digest options. If you have been to a pet store or if you have done online searches, then you know the wide variety of different foods out there. It can be confusing to find the right ones. Here is a list of the top 10 best puppy foods for 2017.Since there isn’t such thing as best food for puppies of all breeds and sizes, we divided the best dry foods into 3 groups: for small, medium and large breed puppies. Each breed size has different metabolic needs and the puppy food industry now produces food for breeds of every size. These products are available on the internet, but a specialty pet store can also be very helpful. A shop in your area will likely feature a wide selection of puppy foods and the proprietors will be more than happy to help you find the right food for your new baby.Nowadays, there are literally hundreds of brands and types of dog foods to choose from, which can make it doubly hard for a pet owner to know which is best. While it is all but impossible to create a comparison of each pet food brand out there, there are a few fundamentals that you can use as a guide for choosing the right food for your puppy. Sorting through the morass of dog and puppy foods can be tough. Determining your puppy's nutritional needs, and how they differ from your adult dog's, requires some label-reading and translation savviness. Interpreting pet food labels is the key to making healthy choices for your pup.We have two dogs, one female, one male. When we adopted them, we no idea grain free vs. grain dog food did any unhealthy damage to our dogs. Our female, Molly began having many health issues soon after getting her. After multiple trips the local vet, we took a trip to Petco to see what our options were there. One of the sales women working informed us on grain free dog food. After doing a few trial runs with Canidae Grain Free Puppy Formula, we loved it and most importantly, Molly agreed with the food and loved it! For months at a time, my husband would be gone due to military field training/deployments, Molly would not eat and became very anxious. But, thank you Canidae! Once she was introduced to the treats and dry food for every meal, she has now gained 7 pounds, eats a normal schedule, and more! Our male dog, Riley, loves the food as well with no irritations. They are now a year and a half old, and we have stuck with your products as long as we have had them (one year three months), they’re coats and shiny and healthy! Love this food for them, and will recommend it to anyone! Prices are a bit too much, but we budget for their health, and we understand, we get what we all pay for!I will be getting a hairless Chinese Crested puppy in a couple of weeks, I want to give her the best food (brand and wet / dry / or combo) considering the skin and teeth issues common to this breed. I have access to a petco but am willing to order online in order to get her the best, realistically I do not want to have to shop for fresh ingredients and cook.
